Sinfonia Toronto's

 'Heart of Germany' Tour

November 17 - 24, 2008

Music Director Nurhan Arman and the virtuoso strings of Sinfonia Toronto will tour the central German state of Hesse in November 08, showcasing Canadian culture in one of Europe’s most historic regions.

The orchestra will perform Canadian classics by Macmillan and Prévost in addition to masterpieces by Dvorak, Elgar, Janacek, Schubert and Tchaikovsky. The tour includes concerts in five cities and live-concert broadcasting on the Hessischer Rundfunk radio network.

Members of the orchestra will be joined on the tour by a group of enthusiastic Toronto music-lovers. Musicians and fans will share opportunities to visit ancient city centres, castles and picturesque parks and vineyards along the River Main as well as playing/listening to this superb ensemble in distinguished university, church and state halls.

Join us in the land of Bach, Brahms and Beethoven
